Kerim Tulun began his career with Vanderbilt Financial Group in June 2018 as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Prior to joining Vanderbilt, he spent several years at UBS building a clientele of both families and businesses. Kerim’s motivation for embarking on a career in financial services stems from the unfortunate hardships endured by his own family after the sudden passing of a key family member.
As a result of his family’s experience, Kerim’s mission is to be consummate learner and educate thousands of individuals and families on key financial planning topics to help them properly grow, protect, and transfer their assets efficiently to their loved ones. Relationships are most important to Kerim, as he develops close relationships with his clients to learn about them both personally and professionally in order to provide sound and thoughtful advice that is tailored to their overall financial goals. Integrity and honesty is the foundation for Kerim's guidance
Kerim has earned the highly regarded CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. The CFP® certification has become the recognized standard of excellence for personal financial planning. Rigorous testing in a wide range of topic areas, experience requirements and strict ongoing ethical conduct are necessary to obtain and hold the CFP® certification mark. Kerim maintains his series 7, 66 licenses as well as the New York State life and health insurance licenses.
Away from work, Kerim enjoys spending his time with family and friends. He loves the outdoors and enjoys competing in Crossfit. Kerim supports many charities. Most recently, he's been volunteering his time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, where he is actively a mentor, friend, supporter, and a positive and consistent addition to the life of a child.
